Research Centre (QIRC)

The QIRC brings together world-class expertise in Immunology at UQ and QIMR Berghofer to delineate novel insights in immune regulation and use this knowledge to develop breakthrough immune-based therapies and preventive strategies.

Goal

Our overarching goal is to establish a multidisciplinary research network combining the strengths of immunology basic, translational and clinical research at The University of Queensland and the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute.

Key Research Strengths

QIRC is comprised of over 30 research groups across UQ and QIMR Berghofer with following research areas of expertise:
