Congratulations to the 2025 QIRC Seed Grant Recipients

The Queensland Immunology Research Centre (QIRC) is thrilled to announce the recipients of 2025 QIRC Seed Grants, supporting innovative and collaborative immunology research.

Each project exemplifies the strength of collaboration and multidisciplinary innovation within Queensland’s research community. Congratulations to:

  • Wittaya Suwakulsiri, Harley Robinson, Ranjeny Thomas, James Hudson - Investigating cytokine-driven Cardiac Dysfunction in Rheumatoid Arthritis Using Longitudinal Data and Human Cardiac Organoids.
  • Jessica Harrison, Cameron Bishop, Daniel Rawle, Wilson Nguyen, Henry de Malmache - Evaluating immune responses of ISVac technology against JEV and emerging genotypes.
  • Naphak Modhiran, Daniel Rawle, Jessica Harrison, Wilson Nguyen - Development of pan-alphavirus antiviral antibody therapy.
  • Andrii Slonchak, Wilson Nguyen, Daniel Rawle - Defining the immunopathology of Oropouche virus (OROV) in neuropathological models of neuroinvasion and vertical transmission.
  • Kelvin Tuong, Monika Prelowska, Bill Dougall - Deep learning-guided mapping of cancer-associated TCRs in neoadjuvant immunotherapy.
